A family tree that keeps their voices

TrueKin’s family tree shows everyone who loves your child across three generations, from grandparents to cousins. Write to anyone on it, invite relatives to write too, and keep a place for people who have died, with their photos, letters and voice.

A sample family tree across three generations. Grandparents: Grandpa, remembered, 1952–2021, with Grandma; Grandpa Tom with Nana Linda, not on TrueKin. Parents: Sarah, invited; Emma with Daniel. Children: Sarah’s baby, expected; Lily and Noah. Claire sits outside the tree in the Circle.

What the rings mean

On TrueKin

A solid evergreen ring.

Invited

A dashed brass ring until they accept.

Not on TrueKin

A hairline ring. You can still write to them.

Expected

A dotted ring for a baby on the way.

Remembered

A soft candle ring, with their years.

The tree with Sarah selected: invited, with Resend invite.

Write to anyone, in the tree or your circle

Write to your children, your partner, a parent or a friend. Best friends, godparents and mentors live in your circle, outside the tree, and appear in the same picker.
